About the role
The Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases, including patient positioning, prepping, and circulating. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients of all ages in the operating room, adhering to nursing standards and center policies. This role involves making decisions about direct patient care needs and communicating information to physicians, patients, families, and other departments. Additional responsibilities may include serving on committees and participating in quality improvement audits and projects.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- No call required
- No nights, weekends, or holiday work hours
Pay
$35 – $55/hour, depending on experience
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current Washington state RN license
- BLS and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification accredited by AHA
- One or more years of experience in an intra-operative setting
- Must be willing and able to obtain a Radiology Technologist license as required by the state of WA within 90 days of employment
- Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities
- Physically and emotionally capable of performing the responsibilities of the position
