About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care in a surgical setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients prior to surgery and educating them and their families about procedures and peri-operative care
- Preparing patients with intravenous therapy, medications, and surgical site verification
- Participating in surgical site verification protocols and responding to patient emergencies
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care, continuously improving practices, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Monitoring patient conditions, documenting changes, and assessing patient status throughout shifts
- Applying nursing processes, critical thinking, and leadership skills to ensure safety and quality care
Qualifications
- Current RN licensure and a diploma in nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire

Schedule
- Predictable, self-scheduled shifts posted four weeks in advance
- On-call required during selected non-business hours
