Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Position Description

Contract Guarantee hours = 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any "on-call" time worked.

Shift & Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts, 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM
• 13 weeks, 40 hours/week
• Up to 2 weekends/month – either call (7a-7p, or 7p-7a on Sat/Sun/holidays) or working shifts
• 30-minute on-call response time
• Short call shift once a week: 3a-7a or 5p-9p
• Primarily based on the West Main campus, but can be floated to East or CVI OR
• Holidays eligible to work: any while on contract
• RTO must be approved

Required Skills & Experience

• MA license required
• BILH coversheet required
• Circulate: ortho, neuro, ENT, general surgery, and kidney transplants (liver transplant preferred)
• Scrub highly preferred
• Scrub and/or circulate: general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck), GYN, urology, organ procurement, trauma
• OR West consists of 10 operating rooms and focuses on Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery
• Team cares for patients undergoing: bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney and liver transplants

Additional Details

• Start date: ASAP starts, 4 weeks out for compliance
• Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday)
• IVS with offer
• Please provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission
• ALL RTO REQUESTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SUB
• NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility)
• Travelers who have worked for facility as perm or per diem within the last six months will not be accepted – MUST be separated from facility for six months to be considered
