Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment in surgical suites.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team.
• Prepare surgical suites and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Document care and supplies accurately.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies.

Requirements

• Hold an active Alaska RN license.
• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications, with PALS certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Prior OR or critical care experience and CNOR certification are preferred.
• Show strong observation, assessment, teamwork, and flexibility for varied hours and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current CPR certification.

Skills

• Proficiency in computer systems and documentation software.
