About the role

As a Registered Nurse you will facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care. You will promote optimal patient health, well‑being, and safety through the nursing process, adhering to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act while demonstrating personal accountability for relationship‑based care and the organization’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records, and clinical data.
• Evaluate patient responses and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement a patient plan of care, observing outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions, including IV therapy, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain thorough and confidential patient charts and records; document status, interventions, responses, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Use information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision‑making.
• Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect each patient’s health, safety, and rights.
• Provide patient/family education by assessing learning readiness, needs, and ability; deliver teaching and evaluate its effectiveness.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or equivalent endorsement.
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Physical ability to perform medium work exertion: lift up to 50 lb occasionally, up to 20 lb frequently, and up to 10 lb constantly.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• At least one (1) year of nursing experience.

Pay

$32.01 – $53.90 per hour
