Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients pre-surgery and provide education to patients and families
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and verifying surgical sites
• Participate in surgical safety protocols and respond to emergencies
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout shifts
• Educate patients on medical conditions and follow-up care

Requirements

• Current RN licensure (Colorado or multi-state)
• Minimum 1-year perioperative (OR) experience
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS within 6 months; CNOR preferred
