Registered Nurse Operating Room (20hrs./wk. Part-Time Benefits) Days-Cottage

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
• Effectively communicates with the health care team.
• Demonstrates clinical competence.
• May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position.
• Works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator.

Requirements

• Must Have 1+ Years Experience Circulating
• Ability to Scrub in the Operating Room
• Desirable Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• One year of OR experience is required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
• Successful completion of HFMG Pharmacology test
• Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel
