Role Overview: This position involves providing professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team, applying nursing knowledge, and managing patient care through the nursing process. Responsibilities Assess patient status via interviews, observations, and physical exams.Create individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Implement interventions to achieve patient outcomes and evaluate progress regularly.Adjust care plans based on patient condition changes and document all activities accurately.Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices and promote professional development.Operate and troubleshoot medical equipment, perform bedside lab testing, and ensure safety protocols.Coordinate interdisciplinary care, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with team members.Advocate for patients, delegate tasks appropriately, and provide goal-oriented shift reports.Assess learning needs, adapt patient education strategies considering cultural and developmental factors, and ensure safety in hospital procedures. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse license and certifications in BLS and ACLS (within specified timeframes).Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.Ability to utilize resources, prioritize, and adapt to changing patient needs.Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth.
