Registered Nurse - Oncology / 0.6 FTE / Day Rotation

About the role

Provides clinical nursing care in diverse patient care areas, supporting patients of all age groups and ensuring adherence to infection control policies. Work environment is dynamic, fast-paced setting involving frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting, with exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments, administering medications, and delivering treatments.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient information and care provided.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSc in Nursing preferred.
• Current NYS RN license required.
• Clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care preferred.
• Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or TNCC are advantageous.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking abilities.
