Registered Nurse On Call

Shift

• 8a-8p every other weekend - Saturday and Sunday

Requirements

• Licensed as an RN in the state of PA
• Ability to relate and treat terminally ill patients/families and their particular problems
• Strong patient assessment, patient management and documentation skills
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, telephone, documentation and communication skills
• Access to reliable automobile with proof of liability insurance

Responsibilities

• Communicates pertinent findings to the physician, implements medical treatment plan, instructs family accordingly
• Identifies problems/needs of patient of caregiver, making recommendations for pain management and comfort/symptom management
• Responds to calls promptly when received from answering service. Is able to prioritize
