Registered Nurse (Occupational Health)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist medical staff in processing for transactional tasks to include, but not limited to, screenings, vaccinations/immunizations and patient triage
  • Administer various medical tests as required
    • PFT
    • Audiology
    • Vision
    • Vital Signs
  • Some duties may include medical transcriptions
  • Maintain patient records through electronic medical record documentation
  • Work independently as needed to achieve day-to-day objectives
  • Coordinate with other medical staff as needed and communicate with internal and customer team members

Competencies

  • Familiarity with working in Occupational Health setting
  • Ability to read, write, and analyze/evaluate medical charts
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Detail-Oriented

Required Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
  • Active Registered Nurse License to work in Virginia or compact license state
  • 5 years of clinical experience
  • Passing the NCLEX-RN (National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Must have experience working in Occupational Health setting
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Openness to rotating between our McLean, VA and Chantilly, VA clinics
