About the role
Via Christi is seeking a dedicated Observation Telemetry Nurse to join our team at Ascension Via Christi, St Francis. This position offers a competitive sign-on bonus of up to $12,500.00.
Responsibilities
- Create and monitor personalized patient care plans, documenting and communicating critical changes to the team to ensure clinical outcomes are met.
- Support the patient’s recovery as the primary coordinator of all clinical disciplines, ensuring a seamless and well-integrated care experience.
- Execute physician and nursing orders with precision to maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
- Carefully coordinate comprehensive discharge planning with the healthcare team to ensure patients have a clear and supported transition from the hospital to home.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
- Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
