Registered Nurse - OB/Med/Surg

Responsibilities

Responsible for organizing and providing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. This position will be in the OB unit but will need to pick up patients in med/surg if needed.

Requirements

• Current license with the appropriate State Board of Nursing
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from date of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 year from date of hire
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 1 year from the date of hire (only required to obtain once)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or ability to become certified within 1 year from date of hire
• Basic Fetal Monitoring course within 6 months
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course through AWHONN within 1 year
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 1 year

Pay

Compensation range: $40.05 – $59.60 per hour. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $7,500 (ADN) and up to $10,000 (BSN).

• Possible remote/hybrid option
• Shift rotation: Day/Night rotation
• Shift start times: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (day) / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (night)
• Every third weekend worked
