Registered Nurse - Neurology, Hartford

Position Purpose

The Registered Nurse, Ambulatory Infusion, is responsible for providing higher level clinical support to the health care team by providing superior nursing care services to patients in accordance with established R.N. job standards, policies, and procedures.

What You Will Do

• Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively.
• Communicates effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family members.
• Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
• Understand computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited R.N. program; BSN Preferred
• Licensure: Current Connecticut R.N. license required

Additional/Preferred Qualifications

• Neurology experience preferred
• 3-5 years of RN experience preferred
