Registered Nurse - Neurology

About the role

Provides leadership and coordination of nursing staff, ensures quality patient care, and collaborates with advanced practice providers to achieve clinical objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors staff during shifts; participates in performance evaluations.
• Assesses patient care needs and develops appropriate care assignments.
• Evaluates patient care effectiveness and addresses issues impacting outcomes.
• Responds to patient care complaints and manages through established channels.
• Contributes to hiring, training, and staff development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
• At least one year of registered nurse experience.
• Active professional nursing license and BLS certification applicable to the state.
