About the role

Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to neurology patients, performing comprehensive neuro assessments and monitoring for changes in neurological status. Develop and implement individualized care plans, accurately document patient condition, and respond promptly to acute events such as stroke symptoms or seizure activity. Coordinate interdisciplinary care with neurologists, rehab services, and case management to ensure seamless treatment progression and safe discharge planning.

Schedule

Weekend night shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Eligible for specialized weekend incentive pay and shift differentials.

Pay

Salary range: $39.75 - $56.11 per hour

Requirements

BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire.

Qualifications

Preferred: One year of RN acute care experience.
