Registered Nurse - Neuro-Vascular/Cardiac
About the role
The Registered Nurse at Garden City Hospital is responsible for delivering safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
Responsibilities
- Delivers safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
- Maintains standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
- Communicates with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
- Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

$15,000.00 Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates. Eligibility and payout terms apply.
