Role Overview The RN Clinical Charge Nurse leads daily unit operations, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care while supporting team development and collaboration. They mentor staff, manage patient flow, and oversee clinical practices aligned with evidence-based standards and organizational policies. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patient care quality through daily rounds and oversee the nursing process using clinical judgment and peer coaching.Foster relationship-based, patient-centered care through effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.Coordinate safe care delivery, promote teamwork, and support performance improvement initiatives, including research and shared governance.Serve as a preceptor and mentor, modeling professional nursing practice, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Participate in quality improvement, data collection, and resource management to optimize unit operations. Qualifications & Skills Valid nursing license and adherence to professional standards as per state regulations and ANA Code of Ethics.Strong clinical expertise, critical thinking, and ability to lead and collaborate effectively.Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills to support a respectful, inclusive environment.Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, and ongoing professional development.
