About the role
Join a specialized NICU team providing direct nursing care in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Document patient conditions.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and families.
- Serve as the primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for seamless patient care.
- Follow physician and nursing orders.
- Assess discharge needs.
- Ensure patient safety.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Current RN licensure in Missouri or a compact state.
- Required certifications: BLS, ALS, PALS or NRP, and other relevant life support or resuscitation programs.
- Physical ability to perform patient care activities, including lifting, walking, and standing.
- Strong communication skills and alertness for safety.
Schedule
Night shift schedule with weekend rotations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Level 3 NICU.
- Experience in delivery room resuscitation.
