Registered Nurse Motherbaby

Job Summary

Join us as a Postpartum Registered Nurse on our Mother Baby Unit. Educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period. Provide comprehensive nursing assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, and supervise non-licensed nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN); 1 year of acute care experience preferred
• Education: Associates Degree of Nursing or BSN preferred
• Licenses and Certifications: Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required; RNC-OB certification preferred
