Pay

Hourly wage estimate: $44.38 – $64.66 per hour. The typical candidate is hired below the midpoint of the range. Salary may vary based on skills, experience, and comparison to other employees.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse MedSurg, you will deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in line with departmental requirements and state specialty standards. You will collaborate with medical providers and the care team, providing personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care while advocating for patients, families, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers and ensure thorough, timely documentation in the patient’s medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action for unintended responses.
• Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs, and resolving them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures, translating complex terminology for complete understanding.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada (required).
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• At least 1 +  years of current acute care experience (required).
