About the role

Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Team Administrator to join our team at the Jefferson County Jail. This position offers the opportunity to combine hands-on nursing care with administrative responsibilities in a structured, supportive environment.

Schedule

Full Time | 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Rotating schedule including every other weekend

Participates in an on-call rotation. Sign-on & retention bonus available.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assessments, and nursing interventions
• Coordinate daily healthcare operations and ensure continuity of care between shifts
• Serve as the primary nursing leader and clinical resource for the facility
• Collaborate with providers, correctional staff, and Southern Health Partners leadership to deliver quality patient care
• Review documentation, monitor compliance, and maintain accurate medical records
• Support and coordinate activities with the facility's nursing staff member working the alternate rotation
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address clinical concerns, provide guidance, and support facility operations as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies, correctional healthcare standards, and regulatory requirements
