About the role

Provides comprehensive nursing care in a Med Surg department, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary efforts, and communicating patient conditions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Implement and oversee patient care plans, ensuring communication of patient conditions.
• Serve as primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for seamless patient care.
• Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a valid multi‑state license.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC within 30 days of hire.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
