The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. The role involves maintaining high standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities among assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates are eligible.
• Hospital experience preferred; 1 year of hospital experience is advantageous for PRN roles.
• Current RN licensure in the state, or multistate licensure (NLC/eNCL).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced certifications in specialty areas are a plus.
