Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

About the role

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical surgical unit. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, administering medications, performing basic life support, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications accurately and safely
• Perform basic life support and emergency response
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient care activities and progress in the electronic health record

Requirements

• Current RN license in Wisconsin
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• One year of acute care experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in computer systems, particularly electronic health records
