Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care across all age groups, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within organizational policies. They coordinate care activities, maintain practice standards, and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's preferred)
• Current Georgia RN license or multistate licensure
• BCLS certification required
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area (e.g., ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NICU, Labor & Delivery)
• No experience required; new graduates are eligible; hospital experience preferred

Key Duties

• Providing patient-centered nursing care
• Coinciding and supervising assigned staff
• Adhering to standards of nursing practice and policies
• Maintaining professional development and certifications as required by specialty area
