Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Responsibilities

• Delivering direct patient care according to established policies and protocols.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans using the nursing process.
• Assessing patient needs across physical, cultural, social, and emotional dimensions.
• Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and set goals.
• Educating patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.
• Applying evidence-based practices to ensure age-specific and clinical needs are met.
• Maintaining a safe, compassionate, and ethical care environment.
• Potentially performing point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Current RN license in Missouri or a compact state, and BLS certification.
• No prior experience required.

Skills And Physical Requirements

• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform physical tasks regularly.
• Proficiency in using vision, hearing, and other senses to monitor patient health.
