Registered Nurse - Medical Intermediate Care - Full-Time Days

Role Overview

The registered nurse provides professional, technical nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise team members, ensuring age-appropriate care in line with unit standards.
• Communicate effectively, build collaborative relationships, and promote a positive patient experience.
• Take accountability for performance, seek professional growth, and contribute to team success.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold high standards of nursing practice to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and relevant departmental certifications.
• Valid nursing license for Texas or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience.
