About the role
Join a dedicated nursing team on an 18-bed orientation unit focused on training new caregivers in patient care and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Act as a preceptor for newly hired nurses
- Teach fundamental skills
- Provide patient care for Medical Telemetry patients with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Contribute to nursing education, patient safety, and unit operations
Requirements
- Licensed RN with a current license in the state or compact licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably with prior mentorship or medical-surgical background
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and Healthcare Provider card (obtain within specified periods if not already held)
- Educational requirements: Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN
