Overview of Nursing Educator Role

Deliver patient care for Medical Telemetry patients with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio during day shifts. Contribute to an innovative educational environment, impacting future nurses and enhancing leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care for Medical Telemetry patients with a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio during day shifts.
• Act as a preceptor to two senior nursing students, guiding their clinical care and skill development.
• Support and oversee students' clinical rotations, ensuring educational and patient care standards are met.
• Contribute to an innovative educational environment, impacting future nurses and enhancing leadership skills.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state or a compact license, maintained throughout employment.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification, with ACLS and BLS either obtained or completed within 90 days.
