Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Trauma Spine

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition upon admission and during shifts, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and respond to therapeutic effects or adverse reactions.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care by addressing patient requests and needs.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
• Deliver high-quality, personalized nursing care, collaborate with healthcare teams, and ensure positive patient outcomes while adhering to standards and regulations.

Requirements

• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program with completion within 5 years; experience exempted for those with 10+ years.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina and BLS certification; national certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience required.
• Strong assessment, communication, and advocacy skills.
