Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele - Full-Time

About the Role

This position requires an experienced nurse practicing independently within a clinical setting. The nurse provides both routine and complex patient care, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of each situation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and available resources.
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to care providers to manage clinical situations effectively.
• Develop long-term care plans and adapt to contingencies in clinical nursing practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; active RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with healthcare team members.

All new hires must complete orientation, competency validations, and obtain required certifications within specified timeframes.

Schedule

Full-time night shifts (7PM - 7AM).
