About the role
As a Registered Nurse on the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit, you will provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care that promotes optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data while responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment plans
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Promote patient safety, quality outcomes, and a culture of compassionate care
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Minimum of six (6) months of acute care nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Schedule
- Part-Time, Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- On-site at Bartow Regional Medical Center (no remote work or on-call requirements)
