Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Ortho - Nights

BayCare Health System is seeking an RN to join the Medical/Surgical Orthopedics team at Winter Haven Hospital. Responsibilities

• Independently care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Maintain professional accountability and pursue professional development.
• Collaborate and communicate with interdisciplinary care providers in developing and assisting the plan of care.
• Organize, prioritize, and update the plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others on a medical/surgical unit.
• Identify patients at risk for injury based on diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepare the room environment.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 6 months of RN acute care experience
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing

Schedule

• Part‑time position
