Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients. They collaborate with other inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. They care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up as patients move along the continuum of care. They function within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, AACN, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Facility: Sanford Broadway Med Ctr Location: Fargo, ND Address: 801 Broadway N, Fargo, ND 58102, USA Shift: Weekend Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $34.00 - $48.00 Department Details: 5SE is a 47-bed Medical/Surgical unit serving Nephrology, Urology, Oral-Maxillary/Facial, and general surgery patients. It also serves patients undergoing various surgical procedures such as gynecologic, colorectal, urologic, hernia repair, breast and plastics, laparoscopic procedures, maxillofacial, and kidney transplant.
