Registered Nurse - Med Surg - Nights

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide expert nursing care during hospital stays, assessing, managing, and coordinating patient activities with a patient-centered approach. Performs comprehensive assessments, including admission, transfer, post-op, and discharge planning, documenting findings accurately.Develops and evaluates individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, lab data, and physician orders, setting short and long-term goals.Delivers and documents nursing interventions, administers medications, monitors IV fluids, and collaborates with healthcare team for coordinated care.Recognizes patient condition changes, implements timely nursing actions, and involves families in decision-making.Provides specialized care for high-risk patients, including restraint and pain management, and reports abuse or safety concerns.Ensures professional accountability by adhering to policies, maintaining certifications, and staying current with evidence-based practices.Promotes a respectful, collaborative work environment, demonstrating empathy and effective communication with colleagues, patients, and families.Maintains safety and infection control standards, manages equipment properly, and completes mandatory training.Delivers exemplary service by ensuring patient comfort, privacy, and timely communication, fostering patient satisfaction and trust. Qualifications Include Current RN license in applicable states with BLS certification.Ability to perform age-specific and culturally competent care for adult and geriatric populations.Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills; adaptable to changing demands.Commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and professional development.
