Registered Nurse - Med Surg ICU

About the role

Provides specialized nursing care within a Medical Surgical ICU, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, assessing patient conditions, and coordinating interdisciplinary care to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans according to physician and nursing directives.
• Communicate patient conditions accurately and effectively.
• Serve as a primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for seamless patient care.
• Assess discharge planning needs and collaborate with team members.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or a multi‑state/Compact license.
• Certification in BLS within 1 month of hire and Advanced Life Support within 6 months.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
