BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical/Surgical Cardiac team at Winter Haven Hospital. Responsibilities
- Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- Responsible for professional accountability and development.
- Collaborates and communicates with interdisciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in the plan of care.
- Organizes, prioritizes and updates the plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit.
- Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares the room environment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- BLS certification
- 6 months of RN acute care experience
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing

Schedule
- Shift hours: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Shift: Shift 1 (Days)
- Weekend work: Every other weekend
