Responsibilities
- Assessment and re-assessments of patients
- Development of the plan of care
- Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions
- Evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions
- Supervision and coordination of other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned
- Guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate
The Staff Registered Nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. Potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. Must follow standard precautions.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Other certifications and competencies required based on service line skill
