Registered Nurse Med Surg

Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, a community-governed non-profit organization, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in the Med/Surg department. Our hospital is committed to keeping healthcare local and providing exceptional services to our community.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care to assigned patients, incorporating individualized plans of care and evidence-based practice
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and hospital performance

Requirements

• AAS in Nursing required, BSN preferred
• One (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Med/Surg setting preferred
• Current registration with the New York State Board of Nursing
• BLS and ACLS current certification required

Schedule

• Full-time, overnight shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 12-hour shifts

Pay

$45.09 - $53.39 per hour, based on years of experience
