Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina or have licensure from another state with application to South Carolina Board of Nursing for licensure with temporary permit
- BLS certification (current)
- ACLS certification (required within 6 months of hire)
- PALS certification (preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of nursing principles as well as hospital policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Potential for leadership
- Ability to assess patient needs (clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual)
- Basic computer skills
Experience
- ICU Tier 1: One year of critical care experience
