About the role
The Registered Nurse at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a diverse range of patients under the guidance of an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Achieve desired outcomes through comprehensive patient assessment and development of personalized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
- Administer medications accurately and document care using electronic systems.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during transitions of care.
- Adapt to changing patient needs and demonstrate continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Current New Jersey Nursing license.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- BSN in progress or willingness to obtain within three years of hire.
- At least six months of nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to patient needs, and prioritize teamwork and patient satisfaction.
- Telemetry experience is preferred.
