Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
  • Provides individualized, goal-directed nursing care to assigned patients.
  • Assists physicians with special tests and procedures.
  • Functions well in emergency procedures according to policy and procedure.
  • Facilitates a team approach to the patient plan of care incorporating all involved disciplines.
  • Incorporates standards of care into nursing practices.
  • Develops, maintains, and enhances necessary skills to work with all assigned patients.
  • Serves as a clinical resource to enhance the development of other nursing staff members.
  • Exhibits professional interpersonal skills in all situations.
  • Protects and preserves patient rights to confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Maintains CPR and any other credentialing or certification necessary to be competent as a Registered Nurse in an area of specialty.
  • Must be proficient in the English language.
