Responsibilities
- Demonstrates competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
- Provides individualized, goal-directed nursing care to assigned patients.
- Assists physicians with special tests and procedures.
- Functions well in emergency procedures according to policy and procedure.
- Facilitates a team approach to the patient plan of care incorporating all involved disciplines.
- Incorporates standards of care into nursing practices.
- Develops, maintains, and enhances necessary skills to work with all assigned patients.
- Serves as a clinical resource to enhance the development of other nursing staff members.
- Exhibits professional interpersonal skills in all situations.
- Protects and preserves patient rights to confidentiality.
Requirements
- Maintains CPR and any other credentialing or certification necessary to be competent as a Registered Nurse in an area of specialty.
- Must be proficient in the English language.
