Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Per Diem Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Able to identify immediate and long range plans for patient care and includes both the patient and family in the plan
• Sets priorities for the patients needs, making decisions which reflect sound judgement
• Maintains awareness of the patients clinical status and assesses for significant changes
• Communicates clearly with patient, family members, physicians, and team members to ensure patient needs are met
• Safely administers medication on time and in accordance with the Hospital's policies
• Performs venipuncture and starts intravenous lines safely

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS, NRP certifications
• Minimum 2 years experience in a medical/surgical setting
