Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Role Overview This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment, contributing to maternal and neonatal health for over 3,000 annual deliveries. The role includes performing patient assessments, developing and updating care plans, administering medications, monitoring fetal well-being, and delivering patient education. The nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of obstetricians, maternal-fetal specialists, certified nurse midwives, and anesthesia providers to ensure patient-centered, evidence-based care. Responsibilities also encompass maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring safety, and participating in intrapartum care, including labor, delivery, and surgical procedures. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experienceCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) licenseCertifications: ACLS, NRP, BLS (within specified timeframes)Education: High School Diploma/GED or Associate’s DegreeStrong communication, safety awareness, and teamwork skills
