REGISTERED NURSE - LABOR/DELIVERY

Job Summary

To assess, plan, implement the nursing care to meet the patients’ needs, by following the appropriate policy and procedures of the assigned department.

Education

• An associate's degree (A.A) or diploma program.

Registration/Certification/Licensure

• Registered Nurse Certification;
• State Licensure.

Experience

• A minimum of one year direct experience in Labor/Delivery, OR circulator role, Post Partum and Newborn Nursery.
• CPR and NRP required.
• PACU experience preferred.

Other Requirements

• Maintain unit specific and hospital competencies in accordance with policy requirements.
• Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
