Job Summary and Qualifications
- Sought after a highly skilled, compassionate, Labor and Delivery registered nurse to deliver exceptional direct patient care in our Labor and Delivery setting.
- You will provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
- You will communicate with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical condition.
- You will respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.
- You will perform general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision.
- You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts.
- You will participate in performance improvement activities.
- You will act as the patient’s advocate, as circumstances require.
Qualifications
- A current California Registered Nurse License.
- A graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- One (1) year of full-time equivalent or more of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A Registered Nurse who has one (1) year of full-time equivalent or more of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A current ACLS certification.
- A current NRP certification.
