Registered Nurse/Labor and Delivery

About the role

An RN in this 13-week contract role will provide maternity and gynecological care in an OBGYN clinic setting. L&D experience is acceptable in lieu of OBGYN clinic experience. The role requires knowledge of obstetric emergencies and the ability to triage over the phone, respond to inquiries via EPIC and voice message, and perform other clinic duties related to women’s health.

Responsibilities

• Triage obstetric emergencies (e.g., placenta previa, ectopic pregnancy, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia) over the phone
• Respond to patient inquiries via EPIC and voice message
• Perform clinic duties related to maternity and gynecological care

Requirements

• 1 year of RN experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted)
• EPIC experience required
• WA or Compact RN license (must be obtained within 2 weeks; pending application is acceptable)
• ASAP start date

Schedule

• Day shift: 5x8-hour days (08:30 – 17:00)
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• No weekends required
• No call required

Pay

• Overtime: 1.3x multiplier for hours worked beyond 40 in a week
• Holiday pay: 1.3x multiplier for observed holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, MLK Day, Christmas)
• Call-back pay: 1.3x multiplier
