About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatments using evidence-based practices and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical, social, and psychological status, collaborating with team members.
- Develop individualized care plans involving patients, families, and physicians, including education and follow-up.
- Direct and coordinate interdisciplinary care, delegate tasks, and manage resources effectively.
- Review patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, revising care plans as needed.
- Uphold legal and ethical standards, ensure accurate documentation, and promote the nursing profession.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the practice state.
- BSN required within four years if less than 12 months of experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Ability to see, hear, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment, lift patients, and navigate busy environments.
- May require driving and standing for extended periods.
