About the Role
The Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery unit provides compassionate, evidence-based care across all levels of obstetrical care, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and emergencies. This role supports patient safety, positive outcomes, and community-centered care in a 23-bed unit with a focus on innovation and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct maternal and fetal assessments.
- Monitor vital signs and recognize complications.
- Support high-risk pregnancies, postpartum recovery, and newborn bonding.
Requirements
- Active Maryland RN license.
- BLS certification (ACLS & NRP preferred).
- At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
